Description

Please read the description and carefully review the lot images before placing your bid. Shipping is not available for this lot.

This original wall art titled "Lord Manimal" by Terry Klausman features a piece that incorporates the skeleton and antlers of a stag-moose (perhaps those of the Cervalces scotti or Irish elk. The artwork features the skull and large antlers mounted above a spine and leg bones, all attached to a dark, rectangular backing. The bones appear articulated, giving the impression of a standing animal, with the lower legs extending downward. This type of artwork is often referred to as a "European mount" or a "skull mount" and is a method of displaying animal trophies. The stag-moose was one of the largest deer species that ever lived and went extinct around the end of the last ice age. Klausman is renowned for creating sculptures crafted from natural materials, particularly bones and wood. This piece exemplifies his style, combining the raw beauty of natural elements with a contemporary artistic sensibility.

Titles and descriptions are believed to be accurate, but are not guaranteed. The photos are part of the description; always refer to them (and your eye) as the default description, as photos may show wear that is not mentioned in the written description. We do our best to describe and photograph the items in each lot to show any wear or defects; however, a perception of a "flaw" can vary from person to person.

We sometimes use Google Lens, an AI tool, to verify the authenticity of certain items by comparing them with other online sources, particularly for vintage items or those without clear markings. While it's usually accurate, occasional errors may occur. Therefore, please conduct thorough research before submitting a bid.

We utilize AI to generate backgrounds for the first photos, but leave the other images in their natural state. The item itself remains unchanged; only the background is altered. You are responsible for carefully reviewing all pictures of the items to ascertain their condition and verify listed measurements, when applicable. Please do not use Two Old Souls, Inc. photos, logos or other proprietary content on this website without our permission.
